3 Year Anniversary!!

Yesterday James and I celebrated our 3 yr. anniversary. Time has gone by soo fast. I cant believe its already been 3yrs. and we have a 1 and half year old and another on the way. I would never have imagined that my life would be so amazing! We didnt do anything big or have a super romantic evening. We just hung out together all day; took riley to the library for story time, went shopping for a small anniversary present, had dinner, and watched a movie. But it was the best time ever. I'm absolutely and completely in love with my husband. He is the best man I've ever known. If you know James, you know that he is funny, rediculously talented, smart, whitty, super friendly, and sooooo handsome. Not only that, but he is a strong priesthood holder, and truely the hardest worker I've ever meet. He's the love of my life, and the best dada any kid could have. I'm the luckiest girl in the world!!

Its a Girl!!!!

Can you believe it! Another Riley. That shoots my plan for only two kids right out the window. Poor james, he pleads, "who am I going to go camping with?". So now we're forced to try one more time for a boy. But after that, if we still don't have a boy, its time to adopt. My poor little body cant handle any more :) ....but seriously, we're thrilled to be having another little girl. Girls are so sweet and just so much fun to dress up. Its going to be a house full of ladies. James is out numbered (sucka!!) lol...
We've yet to decide on a name. We had one picked out, but are now debating it. We'll let you know when we've figured it out. -chao!

Christmas 2008

Christmas was crazy this year. We started on Christmas Eve with an early dinner and rushed presents with Marty (Jame's' dad) and kids, after that we speed off for late dinner at our house with the Mejia clan. The party ended at midnight and we totally knocked out...( i should mention that Riley and i were both very sick and feverish). The next morning we had to wake up early and drive to Grandma Jensens for Christmas breakfast and gifts with the rest of the family. Before that we opened up gifts for ourselves at home. Needless to say we were beat, but it was such a blast. Riley loved all her gifts, and was quick to start playing. Her aunties, uncles spoil her so much. :)
We are just so grateful to have such a wonderful family that love and support us. it was great to be able to see everyone and spend time together. specially to celebrate such a joyous occasion like the birth of our savior. Before, Christmas didn't mean much to me. It was just about getting gifts and buying a tree, we never even listened to Christmas music. The true meaning of Christmas was never so important to me as it is now. I'm soooooo grateful to have a full understanding of it, and an appreciation for it. And I'm grateful for those who helped me to see what i was missing. Heavenly Father works miracles, and I'm living proof of that. I absolutely love our Savior and the life that i have because of Him.

Wild Animal Park

We had a fun time last week with Grandpa Green at the Wild Animal Park. It was Rileys first time to the zoo and she loved it. First of all, if you know Riley, you know she loves to dance. Everytime she would hear the african music she would stop what she was doing and start dancing. It took a while for us to get to our destinations because she just had to stop and dance. She was fascinated with the birds at the bird show. She saw eagles , falcons, condors, and all sorts of others. We even saw them feed which was kind of gross since they eat mice. Riley went into the petting zoo and got to see some deer hanging out. We went on the Journey into Africa tour ride and got to see so many amazing animals. It was a blast. I definately recommend it . It was a great day, the weather was beautiful, the animals were sweet, and Riley behaved. A success, if I do say so myself.

Round Two

For those of you who dont know, our little family of three will soon be a family of four. Yes, indeed, we are pregnant. AHHHHHHHHHHH! Can you believe it. its crazy, I know, but we figure we might as well have another. Rileys soo darn cute, we cant wait to see what the next one is like. We're due May 31st next year, so i'm currently 13 weeks pregos. Its been a rollercoaster ride. I've been hugging the toilet the past couple months and finding myself ridiculously emotional (I cry for the lamest things). Its all just part of the process, but we are very excited.

Halloween 08

This was Rileys first Halloween dressing up. she was a beautiful little pink fairy. We curled her hair and put red sparkles on her cheeks ( which she managed to smudge off just 10 minutes later). We took her out to visit the grandmas and take some pictures, but by the time we were ready to do some trick or treating, she was pretty beat. Oh well, maybe next year .

Mexico Bike Ride

Couple weekends ago, headed down to Mexico with sister, bro-in-law, mom, aunts etc. to tackle the 50 mile 'fun' bike ride from Rosarito to Ensenada. It was loads of fun despite how out of shape I am. Left the wife and kid home this time but they'll be sure to catch the next one. We had some hicups at the start of the race (see stewarts blog for details) but everyone had fun, ate some tacos, bought some cheap souveneirs and headed home. Here's a picture some random photographer took at the top of one of the killer hills.

Family Pictures

Our good friend, Adam, was nice enough to take some pictures of us this past August. We did the best with could with our very energetic toddler. She wanted to run around and play in the grass. It was a great time, and we're very grateful to Adam for doing this for us. :)
