'Goldie'

We had an extra family member for a night, last Monday. The Kinnersley's after stopping by, found a beautiful yellow lab wandering the streets. After driving around a bit looking for anyone who might be looking for her, we put her in our backyard with a blanket and some food & water. She was just a puppy and definetly an 'indoor dog.' She howled all night! We had the shelter pick her up in the morning. Tempting not to keep her! We want a dog eventually but we've gotta focus on our other baby girl for now.

Oceanside

Last weekend we headed down to the Oceanside Pier. We had dinner at Ruby's on the end of the Pier. It was freezing! It was still nice to be at the beach though.

Hello. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving holiday. We had Natllely's family over here at our place. It was a good time. Natllely tackled the entire meal herself, turkey, home-made stuffing and all. Turned out great! She's a regular Martha Stewart.

4 Months and Growing

Hi everyone. Riley's trying harder to talk, still just jibber-jabber. It is fun to watch her become more aware of her surroundings. We had a fun halloween passing out candy to the neighborhood kids. We are excited to take Riley "trick-or-treating" as soon as she's old enough. Now looking forward to Thanksgiving. Natllely's family is coming down to our place. We are enjoying our new home. It absorbs every weekend and every paycheck! But we are grateful.

Lets Go Swimming!

We celebrated Renees' 50th B-day at Grandma Longs house where Riley had her first dip in a pool. It was a really hot day, so it was nice to cool down. It took a little getting used to but she made it through, and she loves it now.

Bath Time

Natllely thinks this picture is hilarious. I'm just doing my duty! Babies are very slippery, but Riley usually cooperates.

Riley's First Checkup

We took the little lady in to the doctor's for the first time. She's doing well much to her parents relief. She's gained 2lbs., grown 2.5" and can move her noggin around a little with her growing neck muscles.

It was a good visit despite Riley's scary faces while in the Doctor's arms.

Longbeach Penthouse

Last weekend we visited Aunt Laura and Uncle Shad in their modern high-rise condo in downtown Long Beach. Very cool. We ate at a little Greek restaurant.
Their little place is right in the heart of downtown, exciting place to live. We'll have to visit again soon. Shad was busy hypnotizing Riley in our group picture.

Evening at the Park

Went out to the park after work last night. I forget how much the outdoors rock. Riley likes the outdoors too. She always behaves extra good outside. She seems mesmerized by all the stuff to take in.

Irvine Spectrum

Last night we took Riley on her longest trip yet... to Irvine. I feel like the chauffeur as of late, since Natllely is always in the back with the little one. We drove down to the spectrum and had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. Riley behaved for the most part even with all the noise and commotion at the restaurant. After wards we pushed our stroller through the outdoor mall, had to get a caramel apple from Rocky Mountain for Natllely (of course). A good time was had by all. It’s nice to get out, when we can!
