Christmas 2008

Christmas was crazy this year. We started on Christmas Eve with an early dinner and rushed presents with Marty (Jame's' dad) and kids, after that we speed off for late dinner at our house with the Mejia clan. The party ended at midnight and we totally knocked out...( i should mention that Riley and i were both very sick and feverish). The next morning we had to wake up early and drive to Grandma Jensens for Christmas breakfast and gifts with the rest of the family. Before that we opened up gifts for ourselves at home. Needless to say we were beat, but it was such a blast. Riley loved all her gifts, and was quick to start playing. Her aunties, uncles spoil her so much. :)
We are just so grateful to have such a wonderful family that love and support us. it was great to be able to see everyone and spend time together. specially to celebrate such a joyous occasion like the birth of our savior. Before, Christmas didn't mean much to me. It was just about getting gifts and buying a tree, we never even listened to Christmas music. The true meaning of Christmas was never so important to me as it is now. I'm soooooo grateful to have a full understanding of it, and an appreciation for it. And I'm grateful for those who helped me to see what i was missing. Heavenly Father works miracles, and I'm living proof of that. I absolutely love our Savior and the life that i have because of Him.
